Another great park to check out in our region is the Warwick Municipal Park. Municipal Park is located at 315 Clay Rd. where the municipal building is located as well. This campus has great activities and amenities to offer! There are three different baseball diamonds that you will see the Warwick Travel Baseball Association using. There is also open field space that is used by Warwick Boys Lax. Beside the youth sport spaces, there is also a bocce ball court, horseshoe court, volleyball court, walking trail, playground and a pavilion that is available to rent. This pavilion is one of the more popular pavilions because it has a kitchen as well. The walking trail around the park is connected to other walking trails that the community can explore. Following the trail and crossing over Clay Rd. leads you to the Lititz/Warwick Trailway and it extend all the way to Oak St. This trail also connects to the Newton Square Trail and the John Bonfield School Trail. The Newport Square Trail leads and connects to Newport Rd. The John Bonfield School Trail leads to the athletic fields located at the school. This will also be a great connection to WERT. WERT is the Warwick to Ephrata Rail-Trail System. The Warwick Municipal Park is a great central location to start and then enjoy the community outdoor recreation opportunities. Don’t just take our word for it; make sure you go and “Check out that Park!” to see for yourself.
